| WEATHER ALERT: Wind Advisory in effect in parts of East Central Alabama BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23. Strong winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts near 35 mph will be possible, contributing to difficult driving conditions and downed trees/larger limbs.
