| Roommate charged with attempted murder in stabbing of Miles College student, police chief says FAIRFIELD, Ala. (WIAT) -- - Fairfield Police Chief Nick Dyer Monday afternoon told CBS 42 a suspect has been charged in the Sunday morning stabbing of a Miles College student. According to Dyer, the victim's roommate, identified by police as Tyler Tomlin, has been charged with attempted murder.
