Police: Mother kills two children, jumps from interstate in murder-suicide According to WRAL, officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were called Saturday night to a home on Sebastiani Drive. Upon arrival, they found a 7-year-old boy and his 3-year-old sister suffering from life-threatening injuries. The two were rushed to a local hospital, where they died.
